Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, February 15, 2016

Happy Monday everyone and welcome to a fresh week of NSR surf reports! This is Parker showing you what's going on at the southern beachie. Check out the shots!

I've walked to the beach and had worse welcomings in my day. I thought I was still dreaming when I saw this gem!!!

A couple longboarders were enjoying their morning session. At higher tides, the waves are less critical, playful, and soft rollers.

This guy was smart to wear a wetsuit top. My friend in Santana checked the water temperature and he said it is 65 degrees!!!! Que fria!!! Swing by NSR to pick up a Vissla wetsuit top.

It'll take more than cold water to stop these two chargers! Leo and Lucy are two of our famous surfers.

If you don't want to surf, there is a shady spot calling your name. A lot of snowbirds are traveling here to enjoy the sun, warm weather, and escape El Nino's snow.

Styling so hard I thought he was Bob McTavish! Now is the perfect time to walk the nose or try a new trick before the waves come in a month.

Senor Fuerte (Michael) came for an early morning debut. He is our up and coming ripper. Check out why!

10 foot barrels by morning, school by day, and insane airs by the afternoon. He is a young teenager and is improving every day!

Watch out buddy! Don't get your 80 pound body crushed by the screaming right!

The conditions were glassy and blue water with a chance of pretty ladies in the lineup. Must I say more to convince you?

She didn't make it out but she caught a beauty! Now is the time to fill your wave count and practice before the southern hemisphere sends us waves every week!

In the States, the birds use a bird bath. In Nicaragua, the birds are spoiled and use an infinity pool...

Ok chicos! Hopefully the wind calms down for an afternoon session. Thank you all for checking out the past two weeks of surf reports. Time for vacation so see you amigos in a couple weeks!!
