Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, February 11, 2009

Hello folks, we are the NSR family bringing you the Wednesday surf report from one of our favorite spots down south.  The water is usually colder if you head down south but we were not worry about water temperature today because we really wanted to score some killer waves.  It was head high to overhead on sets, the water warmed a little bit but it is still chilly and the wind was offshore.  Check out the lineup!!!

Come Pan Panic made it out to the beach with us with the water camera.  As soon as he felt the cold water he didn’t want to go out but the waves were firing and it was a good opportunity for him to practice.  Here he caught a really nice looking shot of our very own Carlitos Calientes bottom turning on this left.

We had a couple of good rights coming through this afternoon.  Augusto “La Gaviota” Chamorro was in the right spot and caught a few of the better ones.  We want to say congratulations for his birthday.

A few sponges were able to paddle out today and were killing every single wave that rolled in.  This is “Nanito” with a cool snap in front of the water camera.  By the way, our very own Come Pan was jealous because he didn’t surf.

The lineup was pretty mellow today because we had tons of fun waves to share.  Here we have a shot of Luis “La Baloy” Chamorro getting shack in this beautiful right.  He was getting barrels all over the place.  Don’t you believe us?  Check out the next shot!!!

Here we have “La Baloy” again this time going left.  Come Pan wasn’t out for so long but he did a great job.  If you want to get a couple of sick water shots let us know because we have the best water photographer in the whole pacific coast down here in Nicaragua.

Kenny “El Cheff” left the kitchen one more time and decided to take a couple of cool waves this afternoon.  Here he is dropping into a nice left hander.  Now it is time to make some sushi for us buddy!!!

The waves were firing today and we are hoping to score some good ones tomorrow as well because this swell is supposed to be around for the next days.  Don’t you wish to be down here right now folks?

On the last shot of the day we have Sam “La Ovejita” Etto looking down the line.  Alright folks, that’s all for today.  Please check back tomorrow.
