Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, February 11, 2008

For those of you who responded to our request for help last week - THANKS! So far we've collected $850 towards the Central American Surf Championships in Panama this March. WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP to reach our goal of $1400. If you've ever been down here or thought about doing something cool for a deserving kid - now is your chance. It doesn't take much to make a huge difference - even $25 or $50 really helps. I know everyone is busy, but please take 5 minutes and help us out if you can! We are accepting donations via PayPal at: [email protected]. Thanks!

Today we headed out to Maderas before dark, there were a couple of rideable waves for longboarders. It's knee to waist high on sets, the wind is offshore and the water is colder than yesterday. Check it out.

There were a couple of local surfers paddling out and having fun. This is Oliver "El Jamon de Mono" Solis with a nice spray.

Young Rex "La Bestia" Calderon decided to paddle out before dark and got some good one today. Here he is with a cool maneuver.

Here is Larry "Carita de Venado" Davila going big with a nice backside maneuver. He's practicing hard for the upcoming Central American Surf Contest in Panama.

Here we have Gerardo "El Mope" Miranda, this guy was having so much fun out there. Here he is with a nice shot, hey buddy you are more than happy because your girlfriend is down here in town. Don't you?

Carlos Caliente, Pancho Sanchez and Heather decided to paddle out and here they are sharing the same wave. These guys are going to remember this wave for ever.

Ashley "La Cenicienta" Blaylock was out there too, this girl was scoring a couple of good ones. Here she goes on a nice right. Alright folks Lucha Libre and Come Pan out until tomorrow.
