Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, February 07, 2017

Good day to all, welcome to a freshly updated surf report from somewhere in Nicaragua!  Eric here, bringing you today’s action straight from the beach!  Lots of waves on tap at this location today, the winds are offshore, the water is cool, and the sand is hot!

It’s cool to see a lineup full of nice locals! Lesther grew up here and you can always find him in the tube on good days! Today though, he was going above the lip!

Younger brother Oscar always has a smooth style, whether he’s in the barrel or carving the face!

These men were working on what was on their hook for almost two hours! Reeling in heavy fish with your hands takes patience! Don’t cut the line out there amigo!

Yeah, the locals were shredding out here! The whole Santana surf team was out enjoying the waves! Lots of rippable rights peeling in!

One of the only non-local surfers out there was Chloe… She was definitely holding her own, tearing it up on her frontside!

Employment Opportunity with NSR - Surf reporter and surf shop support needed. Ever dreamed of living on the beach in Nicaragua with a job that allows you to surf every day? NSR is looking for stoke-filled and responsible candidate to become part of our team for a minimum commitment of 6 months. Surfing knowledge and a great attitude is a must. Lodging provided. We’re proud to have Lesther representing NSR on his board! He’s one of the nicest guys around and, no need to mention, he shreds it in the surf!

After a long fight, the boys got their dinner to the beach! Watch out if you’re surfing in the area this time of year; these guys like the cooler water and yes, they hit hard with those barbs!

Lot’s of small waves coming in; now and then a set would show a little size out there! That’s the Mighty Pacific Ocean for you!

Chloe kept coming in to warm up on the beach. She couldn’t stop going back in for more though and I don’t blame her, check out that lineup!

The size and weight of this ray was impressive! While we don’t like to see our ocean friends meet their end, none of this meat will be going to waste tonight.

Please join us at Pili's kitchen if you can!! …..fimrc is a non profit dedicated to medical relief for children.

One last turn before we sign off today! Thanks for checking us out! Keep your eyes on us this time next week as we see some potential swell headed our way! If you’re thinking about joining us down here it might be a great time to make the trip! See you on the beach amigos! Eric is out!
