Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, February 05, 2011

Super windy, that’s how it was this morning when we got to the beach.  As you can see on this shot the wind was howling offshore, the waves were running about chest to head high on sets and the water was chilly.  Check it out!!!

Even with the strong winds we had, there were a couple of fun waves rolling in.  These guys were not too excited to paddle out because they had not wetsuit and it was kinda hard to stay out without it.

A couple of beginners made it out on their own but they couldn’t stay out long, because it was pretty hard to them to manage the conditions.  Anyway, they got a shot on our report today.

And a few other ladies opted to stay on the beach and play some soccer.  It was amazing to see this girl dribbling that ball on her knees and feet.

Let’s take it to the water now.  There were only two guys out taking advantage on some of the better waves we had rolling in.  Check out this dude picking up a nice windy left.

This dude also picked up some fun rights.  Here he is hoping to get covered in the upcoming section.  This buddy stay warm on his wetsuit and also because he caught tons of waves.

This is one of the first things you have to teach your little boy.  Manuel “La Bellota” Cascante having a good time with his son.

And the last shot of the day goes to Gael from France dropping in late on this left.  The winds are supposed to stay like this until tomorrow and then hopefully they will die by Monday.   Stay tuned with us!
