Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, February 01, 2010

What’s up folks?  This is Lucha Libre with the Monday surf report from the most popular beach down here in San Juan del Sur.  Today we went to the beach in the afternoon hoping to score some fun ones but we got a little bit late because the tide was already high when we arrived.  The waves were running about waist to chest high on sets with nice offshore winds.  Check it out!

The waves were a little soft but there were still some fun ones coming through.  Check out this lady riding this nice looking right all the way in to the beach.

Quite a few locals made it out to the beach and they were ripping every single wave they caught, as always.  This is Larry “Carita de Venado” Davila with a sick aerial move.

I am still wondering how these guys do to fly when the waves are that small.  Check out Augusto “La Gaviota” putting in his own show as well.

A couple people were doing some interesting activities at the beach today.  These two guys in the background decided to hike this cliff and were having a blast.

How about this girl, stretching out her muscles or doing yoga.  Whatever it is, she is good doing that because if I do that I would break my entire buddy for sure.

El Mope Miranda was out until the sunset.  He was catching some real nice ones.  Here he is picking up one of the better waves of the day.

Nothing like a sweet worked out to finish the day to keep in good shape, uh.  Lucha out!!!
