Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, January 28, 2016

How's it going primos? Welcome to the NSR surf report with Parker. The waves are still fun so check out our shots!

Kenny Smith caught the first was as soon as I took the camera out. A fast board + frontside roller = another trademark "Man Turn."

My Mom always taught me to eat a balanced breakfast (especially before a dawn patrol). Now, NSR teaches me about a balanced wave: a playful face and hollow barrel. Kenny applies both principals.

What's an early morning session without Josh Springfield? We shared this empty peak before the sun rose.

On the other hand, Josh's breakfasts are not as balanced as his waves. If we were all teenagers, pizza would fuel our tubes and hacks.

Jamie Kocher was also one of the early birds and he's the man behind Shapeshifter. If anybody calls during his vacation, leave a voicemail because he's currently doing some R&D

You need multiple tubes to thoroughly test a prototype, right? Jamie, you had so many head dips that you won't need to shampoo your hair for a few days!!

The final early charger was Lesther Espinoza. We were so surprised and stoked to see him dawn patrol when the waves are only chest high!

But still plenty of room for him to squeeze in! He removed his Shapeshifter's tail for more hold in the tube. Jamie, can we test your products too?!

While we were surfing, India Reinartz was leading her workout class at the Community Center. Check out some of her photos.

Be like CJ: live a low key life, surf, grow an epic beard, and get fit. I question his processes but I agree with the end result.

Reach out to India at [email protected] for more information! This is a perfect way to jumpstart your day while your husband chases tubes.

Back at the beach break, Josh is getting his own workout. Somehow this fish surfs for at least six hours... everyday!!

At a fuller tide with zero offshores, the waves showed some hollowness. Lesther never complains. Rather, he shuts up, paddles over, and pulls in.

The proper peak was working very well today. This unknown surfer is reaping the rewards of his offseason vacation rates.

During our offseason, we receive a few pulses and one swell per month. Reach out to us if you plan an impromptu strike mission!

Lesther was jealous that Josh received the limelight yesterday. Who do you think caught better waves and launched higher?!

Because Kenny is on the Early Morning Horseshoe Executive Committee (EMHEC), he knows exactly where to pick off these frontside beauties. Let's see how Roger responds to Kenny's waves when he returns in a couple weeks!

Josh, keep enjoying the sport and pushing yourself! Soon enough, you'll be the best gringo grom in the lineup.

Ok primos, it's time to finish up our work and take a siesta in a hammock. Thank you guys for tuning in and have a good upcoming weekend! Adios amigos!!
