Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, January 28, 2009

Hi folks, we are the NSR family bringing you the action for today’s surf report.  This morning we headed out to Playa Maderas super early to score some fun waves with no crowd.  The morning was overcast making it a little bit hard for photos but as always we did the best we can to show you how it was.  It was running about waist to chest high on sets with offshore winds, the water was chilly and the jellyfish luckily went away.  Check it out!!!

The lineup was almost empty this morning, there were only about five guys out taking advantage.  Here is one of the locals that took a ride with us to the beach taking this left a little bit late.

“Los Tres Hermanos” were doing some clean up on the beach.  This is Kike “El Burbujas” Cascante getting some work done before everybody arrive to the beach.  Good work buddy!!!

Augusto “La Gaviota” Chamorro was part of the show we had out there today.  This guy has been practicing a lot the last two months because this year he wants to win a couple tournaments in the upcoming surf circuit.

“La Bestia” Calderon definitely fell in love.  Today he drove up with us to the beach but he didn’t even paddle out because he preferred to stay with his lovely girlfriend Ana “La Pavana” Cubana.

No many international surfers made it out to the beach this morning.  Here is this guy from Holland dropping into a nice left.  He was so stoked to surf with no crowd.

On the last shot of the day we have Rodolfo “Calibilly” Villareal with a sweet off the top on this left.   The waves might be running about waist to chest high for the next two or three days but fortunately we are hoping to have a push in the swell this weekend.
Peace and love!!!
