Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, January 23, 2012

What’s up friends?  It is Lucha Libre from down town.  We headed out to Playa Maderas this afternoon and found some super small waves rolling in. We had knee high waves, offshore winds and nice water.  Check it out!!!

Everyone took a big board to the beach today, because there was no way to ride any waves on shortboards.  I might take one big board out later this week because the waves are supposed to be about the same.

The waves were kinda fun on the big boards but you had to wait it.  Check out this unknown rider picking up a nice peeler.

Lots of people made it to the beach and they had fun on the beach.  Drinking some toñas, eating some fish tacos, reading a nice book and taking the sun.  That sounds better than be working back home, isn’t it?

Bunch of beginners made it out on their own, making the inside section a little busy.  Here is caught this guy with a solid ride on his backside.  Keep working pal!!!

The waves are small, so now it is time to do some other stuff.  Maybe a little bit of diving, fishing or play some soccer on the beach!

On the last action shot of the day we have La Aguada with a cool hang five on his super turbo board.  Alright folks, that’s all for today, please check back tomorrow!

This just in from our good friend Josco at Pesca Nicaragua:  Inshore fishing has been going off lately and they've been slaying big Macks and Roosters around the bait balls.  This is Dan Adams, a little worn out after a good fight, but obviously stoked!  Good work Jeff.  Keep those photos coming!
