Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, January 21, 2009

Hi everyone, thank you for checking out the Wednesday surf report.  This is Roberto “Lucha Libre Garcia and Jairo “Come Pan” Ramos bringing you all the action.  This morning we took a couple friends to Playa Maderas to score some good waves.  The waves were running about chest to shoulder high on sets with nice form, the wind was a little bit strong offshore and the water warmed up a little.   Check it out.

Today a few of locals woke up early so they decided to took their surfboard out and catch some fun waves.  For the first shot of the day we have Pedro “El Chimbomba” Flores trying to get in to the barrel on this nice looking right.

Rodolfo “El Calibilly” Villareal was part of the action today.  He was able to get a bunch of good waves with a really nice form.  This time we caught a good shot of him with a good finish on this wave.

There were a couple of girls on the beach trying to get some surf action and take advantage of the sun shine.  Here we caught a shot of this nice girl, her name is Christina from NY who was relaxing on the beach after a hard surf session.

Augusto “La Gaviota” Chamorro was able to paddle out and he had a competition with some locals and flew all over the place as always.  Here he is with a nice air move on this right. “Soy la gaviota y que”!!!

Sometimes you can find a lot of people on the beach doing some crazy thing to look like a rock start.  Here we took this shot of Sammy with his casual cowboy dress walking on the beach.  Sammy said that riding waves is so easy like to ride bulls in the rodeo.  Hijjaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

Here is another cool shot of this hot cowboy to catch this wave and have a long ride.  Here he is enjoying this beautiful moment out there.  It doesn’t matter what people think when you have a lot of fun fellas!!!

Alfredo”El Peru” Prado decided to take the day off and take the big panga out.  He was having a good time and grabbing a ton of fun ones.  Here he is with a nice bottom turn on this clean right.

This is Randy from Florida who was doing a good job as well out there.   Here he is hand dragging on this left hoping to get barrel.  He is so happy because now he is living down here and he will be able to surf everyday.

For the last shot of the day we have “El Tuzo” Morales smacking the lip on this wave.  The waves might be a little bit smaller tomorrow, running about waist to chest high on sets with perfect winds conditions so it will be still pretty fun.   Please checks back with us.  Dios los bendiga!!!
