Will Scharin is here visiting and got a couple decent rides this morning at Pangas.
Our mystery shredder from Wednesday’s report was out again today and he definitely dominated the lineup. A nice high-speed end-section smack on this right-hander at the main peak.
John put the sledgehammer to work during this backside lip-blast.
The mystery surfer playing it smart and staying on edge at the comparatively soft main peak of Pangas.
Root-beer float the section! Nice one young fella.
The mystery surfer coiling up and focusing on the section of the lip up ahead of him, in preparation for a big top-turn.
WHAM! He fully unwound and got inverted on this end-section. There must first be compression before there can be extension and release.
The young Nica fella did a good job of kicking through this backside turn.
Eyes on the prize, down the line.
Ooohh! A stylish layback carve to close the curtain on today’s surf report. I got my wish that there were more surfers out today, but I was hoping the waves would be lining up better at French Fries. If you know what you’re looking at, then you probably noticed the majority of today’s frames were from the main-peak. Tomorrow’s forecast looks identical, so we’ll see what tomorrow brings.
RECENT REPORTS
Hey everyone! Welcome to Thursday evening’s surf report from Colorados. It was a bit of a “stand-up contest” this evening, but the power should return tomorrow. Still surfable, but we are suffering from the recency bias haha.
Hey amigos! Josh here for the next few days. Welcome to April 1st’s surf report from Colorados. The surf was on its dying breaths today, but there were still a few good sets and pulses sprinkled throughout the day. The mid-day window had insane sun, so there were very few surfers out.
