NSR

Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, January 18, 2011

Hi folks, this is the NSR family bringing you a little bit of the action we had on the beach today.  The swell dropped down but there were still many fun waves coming in all over the place.  It was running about waist to chest high on sets, the wind was offshore and the water warmed up a little bit.  Check it out!

A bunch of local kids made it out this afternoon and they were shredding up, as always.  This is Gerson “El Botetas” Barbosa with a killer frontside maneuver.

How about Masequita Mayor, Felipe “El Pipe” Chompipe showing us some action with his deep bottom turn.  Seconds away to destroy the lip of that thing.

Masequita menor was doing his thing as well.  It was nice to see all those grooms ripping all over.  This kid is only 12 years old and he is already crushing it.

“El Mope” Miranda paddled out and got lucky enough to score some fun ones.  Here he is with a small but sweet backside spray.

A couple of longboarders made it out and got some of the many fun waves we had rolling in.  This is our very good friend from Austria, Oscar Austin Powers showing us what Bujia taught him.

There were not many international friends in the water, but we had this guy having a blast on his fish.  Check him out going big with a cool round house.

The last action shot of the day goes to Larry “Carita de Venado” Davila with a sweet floater.  The waves are supposed to stay like this sized for the next few days, so it should be pretty fun.
