Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, January 16, 2021

It's the weekend and you know that means beach day for everybody and even some horses too! Super nice weather out and some waves on this beautiful Saturday.

Oscar was soaring to the moon happy to get out in the water after watching the ocean for hours as a volunteer lifeguard here at our beautiful beach. Thank you Oscar!

Chris was out scoring some sick waves and getting some barrel time in after a long week of putting in work.

There was some high tide backwash that were providing some little ramps out there, here John was fully fins out catching air on a mid face bump.

Then ripping that rail in hard and spraying some water out the back.

Speaking of throwing some serious spray here is Emi between teaching his boys to surf he gets it in himself.

Cesar from Stop N' Go ready for the mid day surf break, if you need anything from ice to fireworks he's got everything available up at the shop.

He has also got some serious surfing skills too so if you see him out there try not to chandelier the wave down the line lol

Better a little chandelier then fully dropping in on someone though I suppose.. good thing Chris had been scoring a bunch of waves this session because this also happened to him multiple times this session. Look both ways before you cross the street and before you drop in on a wave please.

Chris catching a few waves of the day at the sunset session.

Some real nice colors before the sunset and it got a little dark for the camera.

As the sun sets and the last few waves roll in..

Ruth was one of the last few surfers still out in the water and this nice gem of a wave came through and well they say a photo says a 1,000 words so..

Okay friends thanks for cruising our daily surf report and checking in with us down here on the Emerald Coast of Nica. The vibes are through the roof chill and it is so nice to be surrounded by happy beach loving people. We hope to see you down here with us soon enjoying this beautiful life we get to share on this extraordinary rock flying through space around that huge blazing fireball we call the sun. Hasta luego amigos!
