Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, January 16, 2017

Good day and welcome to today’s surf report.  This is Eric signing in today with my first report in a few years and stoked to be back on the beach, bringing everyone today’s action.

The waves were coming in slowly but surely, if this was back in Florida everyone would be taking off school and work! Here, it’s just a relaxed lineup with only a few surfers in the water and plenty of waves to go around.

This is Phil, finding himself a decent set wave to put a rail into. Nice little morning wake up session to start the day off right!

Hey Marc, this is Parker checking in for this one shot. Catch a bigger wave bro!!! #turkishprison

The Virginia Beach guys had this spot almost to themselves this morning. Hector here on this one, loving the surfing in shorts climate, instead of walking thru snow to get to the water I bet!

It was like a little skatepark on the ocean here, with peaks shifting around and waves breaking all over the place. The longboard looked like the board of choice, come pick one up at the shop and you can catch 20 waves before breakfast too!

As the morning progressed, the lineup saw a few more folks out getting in a morning session. Phil and fellow surfer, getting ready to weave thru the “crowd”.

Parker walked down for a share of the fun. Didn’t even have to get his head wet before he started dropping in on some little ramps.

Now that Parker can have some time on the other side of the lens, we get to see what happens when a big guy digs his rail into a turn.

Whhhacck! Making the most of this small sized day. Stay on top next time so we can post the next shot amigo!

Cruising on the inside with style. This compadre had a few nice rides. Made it look like a blast out there on the softie!

Parker thought he’d squeeze into a little morning tube time. He couldn’t quite fit his head under the lip though!

Thanks much for checking in on us this lovely morning, I’m happy I could bring the waves to everyone and looking forward to many more easy going days on the beach! Stop back tomorrow, should be another good morning to catch some waves and start the day the best way! Adios amigos.
