Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, January 16, 2011

Hi and welcome to our daily surf report.  Today we went to the beach in the morning trying to score some fun waves.  The waves were super fun, running about chest to shoulder high on sets with nice offshore winds and the water was a little chilly.  Check out the lineup!!!

On the first surfing shot of the day we have this local guy, he was trying to catch some good waves all morning long.  Look at him running down the line on this clean left hander, one of the better waves of the day.

Here we have our very good friend Guillermo “El Coyote” he was catching a lot of waves.   Looks at him looking good riding on this peeler right hander.

The local kids were ripping it up all over the place, as always.  This is Larry "Carita de Venado” with this cool frontside air.

Quite a good amount of International surfers and locals were out enjoying the waves and the killer morning we had.  Here is caught this unknown dude picking up a nice right hander.

As we said before lot of kids were out enjoying the beautiful day and the perfect conditions we had for them.  This is “El Friki” riding on this nice sized left hander.

Here we have this cool scene where these guys having a good time, enjoying of this beautiful and sunny day.  They are very happy drinking the best beer in Nicaragua.  La Tona.

The local’s guy was taking advantage in the lineup and there was catching some fun ones.  Here we have Pedro “El Cacaste” Flores throwing some buckets on this little nugget.

There some nice waves rolling in, but nobody was out there.  This wave is super fun to ride left or right.  Alright folks that’s all for today.  We hope to have some better waves tomorrow.  Please check back with us!
