Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, January 14, 2021

Good afternoon and welcome back to the daily surf report from the Emerald Coast here in Nicaragua. We got some more energy in the water the last couple days and if you time it right with the wind you can score some glassy fun sessions.

It's nice to see some waves back at Colorado side of the beach after the nice run of Panga days.

This is what I'm talking about! Warm weather waves in early January on a bright sunny day.

It's not the high season but the waves are fun and the crowd is thin, safe to say the locals and people who live here year round stay stoked.

This is high tide around 2pm and less than a half dozen surfers out in the lineup.

Some serious spray off the lip on that one, it looks like this swell will be around for the weekend so there should be lots of fun little windows to get out there and bag some waves.

Down here at the beachbreak you will get lefts and rights a plenty so gotta have that frontside up to par just as much as that backside. Yeeew!

Jason scoring some waves mid day today on a beautiful Thursday afternoon.

Emma charging it on some pretty nice sized waves! Super rad to see such a courageous young girl going for it, I'm sure Ma and Pops are beyond proud to see her pushing for progress and fully sending it.

Poppa Asher out the back on a sick backlit peeler! What a gorgeous day out with some fun waves and an awesome community of people here it is easy to see why so many that come once come over and over again or just buy a house and never leave :) Until next time friends and future friends, keep on living.
