Fernando was stoked to be out in the water today, he was sitting on this peak by himself while a handful of longboarders were sitting a couple hundred yards away and I think it safe to say sometimes it pays off to go your own way.

Nice long rides at Panga giving plenty of opportunity to hit some snappers and work the rail game a bit until the barrels return.

Meanwhile there was a National Geographic Discovery channel style show going on with the birds doing some serious kamikaze dive bombers.

On the other side of the beach there were a few more surfers out, including the grom shredder Jett practicing the small wave flow between swells which he charges just as hard.

What a beautiful morning yet again.. I was hurting a bit from partying last night but once you get out with the sand in your toes and the waves crashing and jump in the water it really does do something special. It's easy to feel good when your surrounded by beauty, able to plug into nature, and disconnect from everything. Enjoy your weekend!
