Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, January 09, 2010

Hi and welcome everyone to our daily surf report.  This is Roberto “Lucha Libre” Garcia bringing you all the action we had on the beach, from one of the most popular beaches down here in San Juan del Sur.  The waves were still small but it was super fun to take the big boards out.  It was running about knee to waist high on sets with nice offshore winds.  Check out the lineup!!!

The wind died down a little bit this morning, so it was nice to be out there.  As I said before we had a sweet day for longboards, so the NSR Team took advantage on that and paddled out to score some fun ones.  Here we have Pancho getting hot by Carlitos and getting some melted chesse right in the front!

Our very own D-lite was able to take a ride with us to the beach as well and had a blast on the big board.  Check him out looking good on this sweet left hander.

Today was the first day that Pancho made it out since he got back from the states.  Here he is working on his switch out steps on this nice looking right.  He never forgets how to do that.

Carlitos Carliente was throwing a little bit of the old school stuff out this morning.  There he is way in the background with a killer hang five.  Way to go buddy!

The new member of the NSR team didn’t want to be out of the action, so he took a big board out as well and was doing it pretty good.  Nice style Super Cana!!!

The beans were cooked right on time, when the guys made it out of the water.  We just need to ask for some chesse of avocado, uh!

The waves were small but there were still a few guys out ripping on the shortboards.  This is Mark MacGugan from Australia showing us how is done, with a cool little floater.

On the last shot of the day we have this local guy getting some work done.  That looks like a crazy job to do.  Alright folks, that’s all for today and please check back tomorrow.
