Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, January 07, 2009

Hi and thanks for joining us for the Wednesday surf report from out here at Playa Maderas.  Today we drove up to the beach in the morning and we found some really fun waves coming through.  It was running about chest to shoulder high on sets, with offshore winds and the water super nice.  The day was a little bit cloudy and the lineup was mellow but there were some small incidents here and there as well but everybody scored some fun ones.  Check out what we have for you today!!!

A few local kids made it out to the beach today and were ripping all over the place.  Check out Rodolfo “Calibilly” Zapata with a killer front side turn on this left.  By a second we thought that was our very own D-lite with that kind of spray.

There were some really clean waves to be had.  Today “El Italiano Loco” sat in the right spot and caught some of the better ones.  Here he is taking one of the many fun waves he had this morning.

Larry “Carita de Venado” was killing the lefts all day long.  He was doing every kind of maneuvers including some aerials.  Here we have this shot of him with a nice one.

It is so nice when everybody respects our waves but sometimes it could be very dangerous when we break the big rule.  Please, if you guys are beginners do not paddle out in the impact some because somebody can get hurt and we don’t want that.  Check out these guys about to kill each other.

A couple of longboarders made it out to be part of the show and were taking advantage of the surf conditions.  Here we caught a shot of this chick taking a nice left hander and getting ready to do some stuff on it.

The waves should be fun tomorrow as well so be sure to check us back out because we’ll make sure to bring you some action.
