Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, January 06, 2009

Hi everyone, this is the NSR family bringing you the action for the Tuesday surf report.  Today we went to Playa Maderas hoping to find some waves to ride and we did.  It was running about chest to shoulder high with some sporadic head high on sets, the wind was offshore, the water was super nice but it was overcastted.  Check it out.

Today we had a few international surfers out taking advantage in the lineup because we didn’t have any locals out.  This is Renato “El Italiano Loco” taking a nice looking left.

His brother “El Pelon” Slatter was able to make it out as well and was catching plenty of fun ones.  Here we caught this shot of him on this right hander.

A couple of fun waves were coming through out there at Machete Pt but nobody was out in that spot.  Here we have this peeling left with no one on.

Here we have this shot of this unknown rider bottom turning on one of the better set waves of the day.  He was so happy to score some good waves today.

Jessica “La Capitana” from Texas took the big panga out and was riding many small waves all the way in to the beach.  Here she is getting ready to make some steps on the last shot of the day.  Please check back tomorrow.
