Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, January 05, 2006

We don't want to call it "dead flat", but it's close. We are definitely more productive when it's flat. We are in the process of adding some content to NSR so be sure to check out the new "Videos" and "Information" sections. At least the wind is offshore and the water is clear. Looks like a great day to go diving!

Here is another cruise ship that pulled into San Juan Del Sur last night. Does this thing use sails or motors? Strange.

For those of you who know San Juan Del Sur, check out this photo of the construction of the Marina. That's right, they are completely reworking the Marina this year. Supposedly, they are excavating the whole side of this mountain to make a breakwater that sticks out in the middle of the bay. This will better protect the boats from stormy weather (if only we'd had this last year...)
