Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, January 04, 2009

Hi everybody, welcome to the Sunday surf report, this is Jairo “Come Pan” with all the action from one of our favorite spot in Nicaragua.  The waves were super fun today finally after few weeks with not waves we have some really good surf.  The lineup was a little busy today but everybody was kind of mellow out there and all the surfers were sharing the waves.  It was head high to over head on sets with offshore wind all day long and the water was a little bit chilly. Check it out.

Today we had a really nice day with some sick left coming through.  Check out this sweet left rolling all the way to the sand with no one on it.  As we said before the best wave of the day is missing.  What a shame!!!

The locals were surfing and shredding it up some sick waves today.  Here we have Larry “Carita de Venado” Davila taking off one of the many good lefts that we had today. This guy was scoring some really fun surfing today.

Also we caught some internationals at the beach doing the same thing to have fun and sharing a couple of waves today.  Here is a shot of one of them riding on this nice right.

For the next shot we have Dexter getting some surf action and enjoying his first waves of this new year.  Here he is with a nice front side ride on this good size wave.

While some locals were catching some sick lefts and ripping it up all over the place.  Allan “La Prenda” Carcamo was doing his thing as well, catching some rights by himself.  Here we caught him bottom torning on this nice wave

Here is a shot of our buddy Jhonny “El DJ Dientito” taking off and setting up to get into the shack on one of the bigger set waves of the day.  Jhonny was in the right spot to catch some of them and able to rode it.

This is the last shot of the day with another nice empty wave breaking all the way to the beach.  Please check back with us tomorrow.
