Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, January 03, 2009

Hi everyone, this is Jairo “Come Pan” bringing you all the action for the Saturday surf report.  Today we took the burro to the beach before dark to catch some really fun surf shots.   Everybody was excited at the beach because we have the first swell of New Year bump it up today, it was running about head high on set, the wind was offshore and the water was super nice.  Check out what we got today!!!

For the fist surf shot of the day we have Norwin “El Chulin” Estrella taking off on this killer left at Machete Pt.  Norwin was super excited to be in the right spot and take some fun waves of this new swell.

For the second surf shot we catch this unknown rider trying to get a nice shack on this clean right.  This guy was having fun with these types of waves.

There were a couple of locals out there catching a lot of fun waves.  Here we have Rodolfo “El Calibilly” Villareal, who was surfing very well today.  Here he is with a sick front side snap on this cool one.

Augusto “La Gaviota” Chamorro was able to be out there as well and grab some really fun ones.  Here we caught him doing his best to have a nice ride.

Here is sweet shot of another unknown rider bottom turning on this nice left.  Today the line up wasn’t busy, just there were a few of people enjoying the beautiful day and catching many waves.

For the last shot of the day we have this nice left running all the way to the beach with no one on it.  The waves will be better tomorrow.  Please check back with us tomorrow.  NSR out!!!
