NSR
Named after the famous boat Captain who managed to keep this spot secret for years, this long left hand point break is fun in most conditions and for all skill levels. On its best days it can offer 500 meter rides from top to bottom. On smaller days, it is soft, playful, and sometimes sectiony. This spot breaks on almost all swell sizes and directions and likes lower tides. ADVICE: Access to this spot is best from a boat. Be careful of the long hot walk from Astillero and petty car theft. Bring plenty of sunscreen because the rock amplifies the heat and sun. WATCH OUT FOR: The black sand in the afternoons, hot rocks along the cliff, and sea urchins in the rocky shore break.
